1. About this policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the Certinuity website at https://certinuity.com, operated by Aventruks DOOEL Skopje. Read it together with our Privacy notice.
2. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) works in a similar way but is not sent to the server with each request. localStorage stays until it expires or you clear it. sessionStorage is cleared when you close the browser tab.
A first-party item is set by the site you are visiting. A third-party item is set for another service, such as Google Analytics. The law treats all of these the same way: items that are strictly necessary can be used without consent, and everything else needs your consent (Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC and the corresponding rules of North Macedonia).

We never send names, email addresses, company names or form text to Google Analytics.
4. Consent and Google Consent Mode
We use Google Consent Mode v2. Before any Google tag loads, analytics storage and all advertising storage are set to denied. If you have made a choice in the last 12 months, it is applied straight away.
- If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets the
_gacookies and measures pages viewed and buttons and forms used. Links from the website to the Certinuity platform can then carry a short_glparameter, so a visit that continues on platform.certinuity.com is counted as one visit. - If you do not accept, no analytics cookies are set. Google may still receive cookieless signals without identifiers, such as the fact that a page was viewed, which it uses for aggregate modelling.
- Marketing: the banner has a Marketing option for measuring which ads led to a trial or demo request. No marketing tags are in use today. If we add any, we will list them here before they are used, and they will only run if you have accepted Marketing.
The first time you visit, the banner lets you Accept all, Reject all or Choose which cookies. Necessary items are always on. Analytics and Marketing are off unless you switch them on.
5. How to change your choice
- On the website: select Cookie settings in the footer on any page. The settings open and you can switch Analytics and Marketing on or off. Your new choice applies straight away.
- In your browser: you can delete cookies and site data, or block them. See the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. If you clear
certinuity.consent, the banner asks you again. - Google Analytics opt-out: Google offers a browser add-on that blocks Google Analytics on every site.
Blocking necessary items does not stop you reading the website, but the forms may not pass on your campaign source and the thank-you page may not show your details.
6. Third parties
Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited. Google's own information about how it uses data is at https://policies.google.com/privacy, and how it uses information from sites that use its services is at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
7. The Certinuity platform
The platform at platform.certinuity.com is a separate site. It uses browser storage that is strictly necessary to keep you signed in and remember your organisation and interface language. It does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The card payment page is run by cPay on its own domain and may set its own necessary cookies during payment.
8. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the items we use change, and change the "Last updated" date. If we add a new category or a new third-party service, we ask for your consent again before it is used.
